So after my last entry, I decided to investigate my dental insurance. I've been paying $38.28 every month for more than a year. And I've been an idiot! This insurance has a maximum payout - per year - of $1,000! With the $50 deductible, I'm paying $500 a year to save maybe $500 a year. Last year I paid the $500 for nothing! Holey crap.

My next insurance payment comes out in mid-May. If I don't get to a dentist before then, I'm definitely cutting them off. Geesh.

I figured this out a while back...I don't think there are many dental plans actually worth having. Not that I have one right now.
