What a great day and it's not over yet!

ljtourist. It's so wierd. We have so very little in common and yet never lack for something interesting and fun to chat about. It's actually pretty fun to spend quality conversation time with someone who has polar opposite opinions and interests. We probably share many opinions, actually, we just never hit on them.
We were talking about Tom Douglas restaurants. Turns out I like only two of them and they are the two that he would take the first and second pass on every time! He is studying for an advanced degree in physics. If my only choice was a root canal or having to go to school to study anything, I'd have to think long and hard to come of with one I could accommodate without slitting my wrists. I got a useless BA degree in math because while I enjoyed the math, I hated the science part - particularly physics with a passion.
But, we had a great great 3 hour brunch!!
Then I came home to two big chores. I have kind of a blanket chest to keep the litter stuff in. There's a hole on the side for cat access and the lid lifts so I can get into it. It's been way too long since I tore the whole thing apart and cleaned it all out. I did that today. Dumped out all the litter and cleaned up everything and set it back up again.
Then I made up the quiche muffins. They are in the oven and the stuff I used to make them are all in the dishwasher getting clean. Oh and there's laundry in the washer.
Great meal and still a productive day. And it's only mid-afternoon.
The winning Mariner have, apparently, left the village and have been replace by the usuals. They are losing 8-1 in the 8th now. At least it will be over soon and they don't play tomorrow.
