After several months of zero breathing issues, I'm wondering is my luck is running out. I've had small coughing fits a couple of days this week. One was really not good as I was not hear any water to drink for a while so just coughed away. It felt like I'd ingested a bunch of dust. Then this afternoon I walked over to the Japanese grocery which is maybe the equivalent of 3 long city blocks and by the time I got home I was panting.
I sat down and hand some water and now I'm fine. I have not been using my secondary inhaler much and am wondering if now might be a good time to start...I think I'll dust it off and get it ready. I have really grown accustomed to breathing and would like to keep it up.

Date: 2012-06-18 02:31 pm (UTC)Also, was in town this weekend for a wedding, and must say...I am DEEPLY impressed at your walk reports now that I've walked some of those streets. I didn't do so well, and I wasn't going very far! (I was pushing a stroller. But I had it better than Scott, who was carrying the three-year-old who didn't like the hill...lol.)

Date: 2012-06-18 02:40 pm (UTC)When I first moved here, I had a couple of years with non-stop out of town never-been-to-Seattle visitors and I developed a great walking route that took us through Pioneer Square, all over downtown and along the waterfront. I had it perfectly planned so we could do the whole thing on flat land or going downhill.
During the weekdays there is a fairly well known 'habitrail' of public indoor escalators which also can get you pretty much up the hills better than walking.
I hope you had run otherwise!

Date: 2012-06-18 05:29 pm (UTC)I want to go back some time when I have more time to explore...especially if I can do it without hiking up the hills. LOL!
I seriously considered trying to get together with people, and then realized that with a heavily scheduled weekend, a three-year-old, and a baby, I should probably stop right there, hang out with the people in town for the wedding that we also seldom see (and who would conveniently be in our hotel) and call it good. *wry* Some day I really need to *visit* Seattle, not appear there because of an event.
But it might be easier when the kids are a wee bit older. They'll enjoy it more. Or get left behind with someone to watch them. One of the two. ;)
(Although Drew loved, and Ian seemed to like, Soundbridge, which we checked out Sunday morning before driving back.)
