Assemble this, buster!

So I actually did sit down. And then I remembered something so I got up. And then I sat down and then I remembered something else so I got up. Then I sat down and thought 'why don't I just assemble that night table?'

So I did. It comes from China and the documentation is what I would call barely translated:

In order to protecting the product. Please assemble the product two people at least.

Yeah, right. Turns out one person is plenty. It had a bazzillion pieces but each was clearly labeled and while the words made zero sense "Through the hole of the drawer panel-side (F) to rotate screws (I) into the hole of the Drawer panel-front (H). (See below picture.)" Actually below picture was very adequate and the pieces all fit together perfectly exactly as they should. Nice piece. Very solid. I'm quite proud.

Plus I'm feeling better about another piece I ordered from the same place that is a great deal larger and is also 'assembly required'. I think I can do it.

On the down side, the Marines are losing but it's only the 4th. This time I really am going to go sit on the couch. No, really.

and they seemed cheap enough that i could buy a few and scatter them around. but ... is shipping nightmarishly expensive?

I ordered all three at once and the total shipping was $30 and change. If you do order and do it before 6/19, using the key number of 8561430 and you get 10% off. (I actually just read that this is just for www.homedecoratorsoutlet.com but I used it on the ottomans from their regular store and they gave me the $10.)

I love getting stuff that requires assembly... loads of fun... usually... assuming they did give you all of the pieces... and you don't end up with left-overs.

This stuff is precision. All of the pieces I've gotten from these people that required any assembly have come with exactly all the bits required, the tools and good pictures. This stuff would probably be a snooze for someone like you who likes a put-together challenge!
