That is awesome! There are some really cool Pride celebrations fairly close to where I live. I'm about 60 miles from the huge West Hollywood/L.A. Pride event, and about 30 min. from the Long Beach Pride venue.

I was at L.A. Pride this year and I'm the +***** she refers to in this entry! Loved both; I've been going to Seattle Pride for years and years though and most other cities aren't quite as serious as Seattle. That's not to say the tone was serious, but L.A. was actually more fun and colorful. And, far more importantly, shorter. Seattle's parade usually takes upwards of four hours. It's kind of ridiculous. Still, it was lots of fun.
