The big day...

susandennisI tried to position the web cams to get the best shots for the money. Of course, once they get started, they will probably knock out the power cord or the telephone cord and we'll be offline but for now, you can see... well, nothing. It's almost 8. I don't know when they are starting.
One of the more peculiar side effects of all this redecorating is the affect it is having on the cats. Jake and Betty have never been close. 95% of the time they ignore each other and stay as far away as they can. When they do cross paths, it's generally lick, lick, punch, screech and run. There really is no alpha - they both seem to share the same opinion of the other. But, these days they are at least sharing the real estate. That photo of them on the couch the other day wasn't really a fluke. Last night they were both there barely giving me ass its required space. Then when I was in bed reading (with the Mariners losing in the background), I had one snuggled up to my left and one snuggled up to my right. (Previously the written rule was if one is on the bed, the other one isn't at least not for long.) But, now they are sticking close to me anyway. I wonder what they are going to think of the new carpet.
I'm in early today and out early today. Gotta go see for myself.
