Ok, so if henare is offline since apparently SBC has decided half (?) of San Francisco needs a data/communication vacation, I can post a photo of the TV on the rainbow chest. Actually seeing it in the picture, his point that the electronics ruins the lines might not be so off the mark. The clock (on the top) definitely has to go. Actually the whole thing may need to move to the left if only to cover the wires. I think it needs Sheri-ing. But I do seriously love the chest.

That chest is so amazingly cool. I wonder if creating a colorful box/shelf 6-12 inches above the top of the chest would breat it up enough to make it look tailored.

Ok, I'll cut it out now. But I love that chest. I want it and I hate chests of drawers!

I do love it to bits myself. Sheri thinks we need to mix up the drawer knobs. I'm so glad I got it. I looked about a week after I ordered it on the website and it was gone. Whew.

i'm in the lucky part of sf this time. my client, otoh, has been without phones and data for more than a day now ... good thing i had the cable modem installed for them (which has worked uninterrupted during this outage--different cable plant!).

i think that, if you had a smaller tv and could glue arms to the side of the dresser, you'd have some kind of goofy high-tech looking robot ...

I have to admit, your color choices are not what I would chose, but the colors are fun, and it looks good.

It's been fun watching the whole process. One of these days I think I want a professional to do my home. G-d knows I can't do it.

Thanks... more pics to come, I promise. I just hate taking pix of the stacks of boxes and there are way too many of them left. It is shaping up, tho and it's a dream come true. Really.

If you want my opinion, which you probably don't: put a vase of flowers or a plant on that beautiful chest. Put the TV on a TV stand thingie...you know, like doctor's offices or whatever have. Not a stand, I guess, but one of those things bracketed to a wall?

Oh I love suggestions but I'm sorry, can't go with tv on the wall - makes me feel like I'm in a cheap hotel or, worse, a hospital.
