There's a brunch place that has been on my list for a while but keeps getting bumped for other places for other reasons. Today, so far, nothing is bumping. They don't open until 10. So I have time to do this and that.

I do want to change the sheets on this bed once I get out of it for good but I'm still enjoying my coffee and writing a journal entry first.

I had more ants yesterday afternoon and evening. The little ant killing hotel/motel seemed to do little. My homemade brew of alcohol and dish soap and water seemed to do much better. And, cleaned the floor!!

We're still trial and error with lots of error on the cat food front. I'm beginning to think that they will eat anything unless I bought a lot of it. I stopped in the nice pet food store yesterday and the guy gave me four cans of something called Lotus. He said that they had just gotten it in and hadn't had any experience with it.

I opened a can this morning and split it between the two of them. I just went in there to pick up the bowls so the ants wouldn't go after the remainders.

The ants were fucked. The bowls were licked clean!!! And every single dry kibble was gone. Wow. Making notes.

After brunch, I need to stop by Safeway and that's it for things that really need to be done today. It's supposed to be much cooler today so I might wander up to the Asian festival. It's lovely to have another day of no 'have to's.
