My new bed rocks. It sleeps well. It reads well. It looks nice. It's perfect. What a great way to wake up. And then I saw the closet shelves and got to organizing even more. I just cleaned off the junk end of the kitchen counter and had a place to put everything!! I do think the tide has turned.

Oh and all you 'tv off the cool dresser' people will be happy to learn that it will likely happen. For some reason (old bed?) I really thought the TV needed to be up that high. Tested it last night and nope, it can be lower - way lower. Sher wanted to put it on something lower and I said no. I just sent an email telling her that I take it all back. Now everyone will be happy.

A check of the Boston Red Sox website looks like they have not yet canceled the games today... Baseball for breakfast. I love the west coast. Then the next thing on my list is to go through the artwork that is now stacked up in the half bath and make Sheri two piles - This Must Be Hung Somewhere and I'd Like This Up But If There Is No Place, I Understand. Then clean the half bath and finish up the laundry and then I'm taking the rest of the day off.

Oh, and see the 'frosted' glass in the night stand? I'm so proud. The clear glass showed the contents of the nightstand and looked doofy. I looked for some kind of frosted glass window cling and couldn't find any. But I did find a roll of frosted, thin, shelf liner (rubber) and bought a roll for $4.00. Double sided tape and Bob's your uncle.

Awesome. I'd been wondering how the bed turned out. If you feel like it, let us know the rest of the story of "Dumb & Dumber" and how that turned out. I'm curious to know how long the "15 minute job" actually took. ;-)

It took them nearly 2 hours total. After the first hour one of them said to me "we would be finished if we had more than one screwdriver..." I offered mine. They were a pair. No damage and the bed is great. I'll let Sheri deal with their bosses.

Sorry for spoiling your breakfast. But then you got even by spoiling our dinner. (Actually, you can thank Terry Francona for that one, putting in a 21-year-old pitcher for his major league debut in a tie game with a man on 2nd. What was he thinking?)
