The Yankees (more specifically, Randy Johnson) beat us but we put up a good fight. However, I am getting tired of losing. I think we did enough of that last year.

Sematic just told me that tomorrow well, that would actually be today if one were in Boston, fj!'s birthday! HBD, dude.

But, most of all... my new ceiling fan rocks. I thought the remote control was broken when I first tried it but turns out, it was on low speed and the damn thing is so quiet that I didn't realize it was on. It is so much fun to go into the room and turn on the light and not have the fan groan. And it's huge and it looks fabulous.

This redecorating thing was a very very very good idea. Tomorrow 2 new pieces of furniture.

I like the fan. It seems to avoid a major annoyance mine has/had whree the chain dangles between two of the lights making an annoying rattling sound. (At least until I neutered it.)

I'm pessimistic about the Mariners.
