Sunday morning

Betty is heavy into her campaign to be Only Cat. She's working hard to ensure my lap is hers, when I get up, it's to serve her, the cat toy pile is now hers. She's cracking me up.

Meanwhile vixter has a friend who has a bunch of chihuahuas. I've always thought if I ever got a dog, I'd want a chihuahua. The condo association has a 2 animal limit, so I've never even indulged in considering a dog. So now I've been thinking about it and honestly I think Betty's campaign is working.

I don't think I'm ready to commit to the maintenance a dog requires. My lap is ample but I'm not sure it's big enough for Betty and a dog plus, something tells me Betty is not a dog person.

So I think, it's going to be me and Betty for a while.

This morning, I'm thinking French for brunch. There's a place in Ballard that I've been going to the past few years for Christmas Eve dinner. This year, they started serving brunch and I think it's time to give 'em a go. Plus there's a Staples on the way home and I need to stop there.

So... I think the plan for the day is to get up, change the sheets, start a load of laundry, brunch, home, baseball and bear knitting... sounds like the perfect Sunday to me!

Every time I think about having an Only Cat (meaning, one of them dies), I get really depressed for me and them.

Other friends of mine put down their cat this week. They send their condolences to you.
