Sheri was working at my house when I got home. The guy who's going to build the window seat had been there to measure. The guy building the shelves in the hallway is going to probably start on Monday!

She has found some great stuff. Really wonderful curtains for the front room (these will serve to both close off the room, if desired, but more importantly, fashion a bit of an entry way. And she found really amazing curtains for the bedroom closets. I would have never ever picked out either one of these and yet, they are both perfect. The bedroom closet curtains even have a bit of bling which tickles the trailer trash side of me.

She found the perfect hand towels for the half bath and great rugs for the full bath. And she made great progress in assigning artwork and pictures to their new homes. These

Still needed to locate:
  • Shower curtain that isn't deadly dull and still works with the paint and tile
  • Full length wall mirror - I'm astonished at how difficult those are to find. even online. I spent a long time looking last night. Free standing floor mirrors are easy. But wall mirrors apparently are out of fashion? Sheri said that she saw one installed and asked where it came from and was told Costco - she doesn't have a membership (????) but I have to go this weekend. We'll see.
  • Coat/hat trees - freestanding - one for the bedroom, one for the front hall
  • Some kind of armoire - maybe unpainted that the shelf making guy can paint - for the front room
  • Some kind of something (night stand-ish) for the other side of the bed
We made some office setup/furniture decisions and she's going to call about that today - two weeks, apparently from order to delivery.

Lots of the pictures and artwork need frames or reframes. There's a really nice lady who has a frame shop on the street level of my very own condo. She's been there since the building open when I moved in and I've never once done any business with her and always felt guilty about it. (Of course, I haven't taken anything to to be framed anywhere so it's not like I've been using her competition.) Anyway, I'm going to go talk to her this afternoon and see if she's interested in doing all this framing. If so, I'll set her up with Sheri and let 'em go at it.

We are making real progress with good momentum. Sheri continues to be amazing. I could never in a million years have come up with the stuff she has come up with and could not be more delighted with her decisions. I'm so lucky that I found her and then she found my email in her web logs! Talk about meant to be.

I Just painted a few of my frames, and they make a big difference. You are so inspiring.
