it could be worse

My throat feels way better but the rest of me has not yet bought a ticket on that better train. At least I have a peace of mind from the doctor. I tend to project right into worse case scenario, health wise. I have such a fear of not being able to live on my own and/or living in misery.

But I have slept a lot today and I'm really grateful for the sleep.

My head feels like my brain is somewhat below cream of wheat on the intelligence scale. And I have these lovely little fits of coughing. If it gets better from here, yeah. If it gets worse, I'm checking out the Hemlock Society.

I'm a great patient.

It'll take about 24 hours for whatever he gave you to get in gear. No worries! Your doc is awesome, and he's not going to let you down.

Look at it this way. You don't have to use sick leave to beat this thing 100%. You don't have the pressure of having to be somewhere and being sick and prolonging the sickness.

This bronchitis will be history!

I've had the same thing for nearly a week, and I hate that brain-fogged feeling. Sleep as much as you can; it really helps.

Thankfully, you don't have an employer breathing down your neck, begging you to return to work. That is more than worth its weight in gold right there. =)
