Off to the pool

susandennisAfter a beautiful lung day yesterday, I had a massive coughing fit last night just before bed. Crap on a stick. I slept fine and I feel good this morning but note to self: don't get too cocky.

Yesterday, I sharpened my good kitchen knife and then proceeded to poke a hole in the flesh at the base of my index finger. It bled like crazy and now is amazingly sore for such a small hole. No flesh eating bacteria signs yet but I'm watching... At least I know the knife is nice and sharp.

I am off to the pool this morning and, assuming all goes well, then off to brunch. I have a new place picked out but I could change my mind en route!
No other big plans for the weekend. Knitting, TV, and I have two good books going - one on Kindle and one audio. Plenty to keep me amused.
