A year ago?  I bitched about my clock radio and switching the daylight savings time. howeird piped up and suggested I look at a Squeezebox radio.  I did and have been ever so grateful.  It changes the time automagically (well, internetedly) but also has such a beautiful sound.  My little tinny radio that was a bitch to time set is a memory only in that it makes me appreciate the Squeezebox every day but mostly on time switch days.

I still have two clocks that require hand jobs but all the important stuff takes care of itself.

This part of the future, I love.

The spammers, not so much. It seems that LJ spam is cyclical and I'm in the up cycle. I had 8 spam comments yesterday and 6 this morning. 2 of those had NO links???? What the fuck is up with that? If you are going to spam me, at least give you a payoff option! But, mostly, please just cycle down soon.

Today is a Seahawks home game so the plan is to go get an early brunch and get back home before pre-game traffic makes that a problem.

I'm killing time waiting for the place I have in mind to open. I think I've probably killed enough.

Weird. Might just be a test to see if comments work before a full-on assault.

That's the only thing can figure. About 1% of the LJ spam are these no link ones - always saying about the same thing.

Interesting because LJ is the only place on the internet I've never gotten spam. Email, instant messenger, facebook, twitter, instagram all spam and had Tumblr hacked.

Yup, definitely in an up-cycle for spam of late. Thankfully LJ's pretty good about filtering it away.
