This dishwasher thing is bugging me. Something tells me it's a simple fix but not simple enough for me. I keep trying stuff that's not working. The very expensive dishwasher repairman is coming Friday but what if it's a simple obstruction in the one pipe?

So I just called the plumber that our building guy uses and got him and asked him if there was any chance he was in the building or close to it today or tomorrow. "Well, actually, I'm here right now!" He's going to come by when he gets done. Nice - really nice. I'm reconciled to pay the $$ but I'd be happier if I could find out from Thom the plumber that I really need to.

---

I went to the pool near Greenlake today. It's the one with really hard to find parking and a 10 am class with a great Wednesday instructor. The great instructor was out today and class just sucked. Too crowded. Too loud. And the substitute instructor was clueless. I don't need to go back to that pool.

---

Our homeowners dues are going up again... They are going to be close to $6K next year (I pay by the year). Taxes and HOA dues now equal my mortgage payment. arugh. On the up side, I think the building is really well managed and the resident who's currently in charge of financials is really really really on the ball. And I have to do nothing except pay. It could be so much worse.

---

And the plumber was just here. He says its not the plumbing... it's the dishwasher. So at least now I know. And I called the appliance fix it people and told them. $$$$$ ugh.

---

I started reading this silly cop novel on my Kindle and now I can't stop. So I think I'll get back to it.

Currently searching for something to download onto my Kindle. Is the silly cop novel worth it?

I had that happen to me three times at the previous apartment (one reason on the long list of why I moved) and it was just a couple of rubber gaskets at the front corners of the dishwasher which needed to be re-seated. Dishwasher guy fixed it in 10 minutes each time. Well, an hour if you count testing it through a wash cycle.

:( I hope the dishwasher gets taken care of soon. I miss belonging to the Y for the aquatics classes. I really enjoyed them!
