Not Friday
Nov. 8th, 2012 10:47 amIt's Thursday. Even early in the day, I've had to remind myself several times. For some reason, I just keep skipping Thursdays in my mind.
Today's headline items are swim class at noon and possibly <a href="http://www.artswest.org/gallery/" an art gallery reception. That's all on the docket. There will be knitting, reading and TV watching. I have an errand at Pike Place Market but I think that's going to be tomorrow. I'm not feeling it today. --- I've had my current phone about 6 months now. It's been updated a few times and one annoying thing keeps getting worse and worse. It's nice little auto rotating feature often loses it's mind. I point the camera and shoot a picture and the picture comes out upside down. Often the GPS map plots my course upside down. Sometimes I can't get a horizontal view at all. I've worn out Google looking for a solution using all manner of search terms with no luck. Until yesterday. I found an isolated reference that said 'make sure you do your calibration with the phone on its back, not on it's side'. ??!!! Really??? I've calibrated my phone a million times but always on its side - never dawned on me to put it on its back. I have a Thing Sling on the back of my phone to help me hold it so it doesn't lie very flat on its back. But I gave it a go anyway and BAM! It worked. It fixed every single problem. wow. happy camper here.
