I blow my nose a lot because it runs.  When I'm out in the cold an come into the warm, it really runs.  I take blood thinners and the air is dry and all of that equals nose bleeds and I got one this morning, just after breakfast, in a crowded restaurant. Ugh.  I managed to get out of there and then get it stopped enough to make my way home.  I took a bus halfway and then walked the rest of the way through the throngs of Seahawkians who were busy making sure they were sufficiently likered up way before the game.

Once I got inside my nice, quiet house, the nose started up again.  I'm waiting now for it to quit.  On the plus side, I recently laid in a new batch of tissues - that I hate - so this is a great way to use them up!!

I had some stops I wanted to do on the way home but I didn't dare stop and I'm glad now that I didn't.  Nothing critical.  Nothing that can't wait.  Nose bleeds are so embarrassing.

I had breakfast/brunch with  [livejournal.com profile] machupicchuat Lucky's Diner - a new find that is primo.  Both our breakfasts were delicious.  It was a nice relatively quiet spot at first but for most of our meal, there was a line waiting to be seated and by the time we left, it was pretty crowded and hectic.  Note to self, never try to go any later than 10 and earlier is better.  This means breakfast with[livejournal.com profile] ljtourist is probably out.  He's such a nightowl that 10 am is hard work for him. Oh well, maybe we can do a mid afternoon - his brunch, my lunch thing.  (The diner is just around the corner, practically, from his place.)

I think I'm done bleeding.  Whew.   Off to wash my hands and fire up some laundry!

[livejournal.com profile] jltourist and I walked past there a few days ago. It looks like a place I should try some time.

I am sorry I missed your test message! But I cannot thank you enough for keeping me in mind. Really.

Today would have been a bad day; had a late night last night and a long day today, so sleeping in was a necessity. I'd actually had my phone off, so I didn't even get your text until after 11, and it seemed like you would have sent it much earlier than that. :)

On most days I could actually do 9:30 or so just fine (and don't hesitate to ring me, in general), but second Sundays are going to be the worst.
