Oh crap oh damn - Dyson, the devil
Nov. 15th, 2012 02:20 pmMy Dyson Hot & Cool arrived and sadly, I fell in love immediately. I cannot send it back. It's perfect for what I want/need. Crap. And, I cannot find any of the blemishes and marks that Amazon said were there (and so gave me the very handsome discount). The box has clearly been opened but I can find evidence of any use.
The big complaint on all the message boards is that it's too loud. Nope. No way it can compete with the construction - it's fine. It also goes from nice and toasty to cool breeze with a handy, tiny remote control that lives (via a magnet, I guess) on top of the unit.
And it looks so nice. Merry Christmas to me!!

I kind of love the idea of this thing. Hmm, four hundred bucks? I wonder how my electricity bill would differ if I used one of these instead of turning on my heat in the winter, and how many months the difference would add up to four hundred bucks (or, in your case, what, $280?) . . . these are the kinds of things I think about now. Blame Shobhit.
