Jake and Betty may be just tired of trying to avoid each other. I was sitting on the bed earlier reading the instructions for my new clock radio when they both decided they needed to help.
As I type this, they are on the couch - Jake got the afghan but he is older and he did get up there first. They are so pretty. The skinnier Jake gets the porkier Betty gets.

Jake still has that wary look in his eye, though. :) Every time you post a kitty pic, I remember that time that Betty got "lost." I see she has her bell on now so you can keep track of her.

Yeah, Jake is still thinking that Betty is only a temporary addition to the family. And Betty... she's still hiding but now I know her spots and she will sometimes come when I call her. About half the time she spends under my feet. The other half of the time she's hiding. The bell is critical. Those Where's Betty days were something...
