At least pick up the feathers!!
Nov. 20th, 2012 11:10 amYep, Betty left a few feathers on the kitchen floor. Ugh. But, then, she had the nerve to beg for more breakfast!! I've now been in the kitchen twice since the massacre and both times she follows me in and loudly asks for food. WTF???
Dear Betty,
One breakfast a day is plenty even on the days when you don't eat birds!!

Today is swim class at noon. The pools are closed on Thursday and Friday. So today and tomorrow are it until Saturday.

We've had lots of wind and rain here yesterday and today. As
machupicchu points out, it's the kind of rain that you see when Seattle is portrayed in movies and TV - real downpour - not the kind of rain we really get around here. Yesterday we broke longstanding records for total rainfall. Makes me more than happy to here on the 4th floor - high an dry.

So during all the years that Ichiro played in Seattle, there was this whacky woman who sat on the first row in the outfield and kept track of his hits. She had a giant sign with replaceable numbers and whenever he got a hit, she would increment the number right then. The sign was neon green with black numbers. You couldn't miss it. It became iconic and so did she. She tweeted as ichimeterlady.
I found a picture!

At the end of his last game before he went to the Yankees, he went over and doffed his cap to her which was cool.
Today she just tweeted that she nearly passed out when she got a packaged from Ichiro today. He sent her a pair of shoes and a bat - autographed. And this note which I just love:

What a classy guy.
