susandennisSince my friends page is now independent of my LJ theme/style, I have more options to make the journal page nice. I was making some compromises so that people who had odd formatting and/or large photos would be perfectly readable when their entries landed on my friends' page. Now, that's not an issue so I can pick a style I like! So I did.

My dishwasher kind of threw up a little in its mouth today. I ran it and just as it was done, I noticed water ... not a whole lot - maybe 4 dish towels worth. And there there was junk that had backed up into the sink. I'm thinking the new dishwasher has a force so strong that it cleaned out the pipes from the junk left in by the old dishwasher. And now they are clean and all will be fine.
OR that installer - who's work I was not that happy with anyway - fucked up. I am running it again to see if it leaks again. If it does, ring, ring... Mr. Dishwasher Person? We've got a problem...

I did some laundry, paid some bills, did some financial projections, watched some tech podcasts and went down and got the mail. Oh and I ordered new pants for CES.
My mother, after Daddy died, used to get so annoyed when people assumed she had nothing to do all day. "People don't understand. It takes time to live!"
Yep. Even on days with nothing going on, there is plenty going on.

You never expect a widow to have an attitude like that, and that is pretty fucking awesome. Words to live by, widow or not.
