This morning is a doctor's appointment first, then swim class. I had my alarm set for 7. Except, it turned out, I did not. About 7:05, I was sound asleep when a small paw started pounding on my nose. Thanks, Betty!

howeird is shopping for an adult cat to adopt and his writing about it makes me want to cat shop. But, it seems, every time that thought comes into my head, Betty does something that says 'I'm a great cat - the only cat you need.'

I've been using my CR-48 that Google sent to me a lot lately. I keep it in the bedroom and use it every morning. I love the battery life. I love the instant on. Even if I had paid more than $0 for it, I have gotten my money out of it. The hardware needs help, but the Chrome book idea is solid, I think.

I love my Discover card but the tonnage of junk mail they are sending me is making me crazy. I sent them an email this morning begging them to stop. Probably my doing that will ensure I get on a list that says 'send this bitch more paper'. Sigh.

Had Domino passed away leaving me with Pumpkin The 20-lb Lap Cat, I would not be looking for a replacement. It would have been great if Domino was like Betty, but she's become a yowling, needy PIA.
