Betty has taken to following me around everywhere and whining about whatever at high volumes.  She has finally trained me to put at least a spoonful of wet  cat food in the bowl most every time I get to the kitchen.  And still she just stays at my ankles meowing.

[livejournal.com profile] howeird just this weekend got his cat, Domino, a companion becuase Domino was lonely and whiney.

So when Betty drives me nuts I tell her "look what happened to Domino!  do you want another cat in the house????"

So far... it's working.  But, I think I'll pull up a couple of cat adoption pages on the computer just to reinforce my position

Our cases are similar - we both adopted a girlcat who was an only cat for a while, then we adopted a boycat who eventually got big and then went away forever. But in my case, Domino had only been an only cat for a year, and was with Pumpkin for 13+ years. I don't think she even remembers having me to herself.

So I think you stand a better chance of threatening Betty into behaving. :-)

I'm confused. Is Travis still there?

I'm so sorry. I missed the post about Travis. I hope it was quick and not painful.
