Dear Discover Thief
Feb. 20th, 2013 08:22 pmI have now changed my passwords on most of the sites that use my Discover card. I'll go back to each one and update the card info as soon as I have it.
I actually do so much with it online, I guess I'm lucky that I get my chain jerked so often. Keeps me on top of it. I have a comprehensive list of all the sites that have the card number.
It could be worse. It could be my identity. It could be my bank. It could be the visa card I never use (and so might not have even noticed it for days).
I wish Discover's recovery process was a little less painful on my end but, it has gotten better and, since I've bee such a good customer for so long, they do cut me some breaks.
And I have the time to fuck with it and I'm out $0.
I used the card, successfully, at 3:45 this afternoon. I discovered the problem at 6. Doesn't look like anything else got touched (Paypal, bank, other bank, visa, etc).
I have two days to think up yet another username for Discover.com - I think I'm going for exotic this time.
