susandennisToday just sucked. There were a couple of little victories but mainly it was just a day of nothing working right and everyone being an asshole. And I have a zit on my face near my nose. Did I not have enough of those during my teen years?
It's getting winter dark here. This week it has been so dark that I had to turn lights on when I get up in the morning - first week for that. Just now, I got home at 5 and needed the light on here in the living room. Our winter days are short here in Seattle. For most of the fall, winter and spring, it is dark from about 4 p.m. until about 7:30 a.m. Dark enough, that is, to need lights on here in the living room. I kind of like it. I like seeing in the windows of the buildings across the way. I like the coziness of the dark. And I sure like the temperature that short days bring.
On the down side since I do take a photo every day for my website, during the winter months my picture taking window is kind of small. But, I manage - I haven't missed that many days in the about 4 years I've been doing it.
I am going to have something in the comfort food family for dinner. I have a Hersey bar - that could be it.
