First of all swim class sucked.  The substitute teacher taught and he sucks as a teacher.  Madeline says I am too hard on him and she is correct so when he teaches I get pissed at him for being stupid and pissed at me for being so intolerant of The Stupid.  It's a lose lose.  Today was the third Tuesday in a row that we've been stuck with him.

So I decided I need a plan and I think I've got a good one.  Next Tuesday, I'll get in the water 15 mins early and do laps in the lane opposite from the class.  Then, if Dave shows up to teach, I'll continue with my laps.  If not and we get a decent teacher, I'll switch to class.  I think that will work and not look really mean.

My brother replaced his Dropcam cause it quit working.  His new one has such a much better picture. So I sent a note to Dropcam support asking how come his picture is so much better than mine.  They took a while - I had to tweet about their slow response but then they perked right up and offered me a trade.

I had to change the code on the webpage and then the other camera quit showing up on the webpage.  I shredded more than 3 hours trying to get it fixed and finally quit.  Maybe some other day.

I need to go out but I'm too lazy.  I have two errands that really should be done today but tomorrow will be fine.  And I just realized that one (package drop off) would be easier on foot anyway - I can just leave earlier tomorrow when I go to the train station open house and take it then.

The haircut I got what, 3 weeks ago?, is still the best haircut ever.  I am so glad I got that hair cutter's name and hours. I am now her bitch - hair cut wize speaking.

I put all the small balls of yarn in the basket into the Left Over Yarn Ottoman and filled up with basket with all new stuff.  The basket by my chair looks very different.  And I'm starting a new bear out of it in 1, 2,,,

That is the coolest thing EVER! I just watched you fiddle with the camera angle for a few minutes and realized it's sort of addicting....You are right the camera is super clear.

Yes the angle is perfect. And the only camera lagging is the one with the side view of your chair...it's a little bit slow. The straight on angle is not lagging at all. Super good quality and now I want one too! :D

I can hear you!! This is COOL! And your place is so cute, love all the bright colors. Now I'm glad you got the purple curtains; looks fantastic. Where are those kitties....I feel like a kitty stalker waiting for them to show up lol....Oh and i don't think i realized your bears were that big, so many this month. Do you think you did more than usual?

Thanks! I love my colors, too. A lot. If I had to repaint today for some reason, I'd replicate exactly what is here now.

Betty sits by her food bowl from 4 til dinner. Zoey spends most afternoons in the front room.

Cat viewing is probably most likely in the evenings.

And,yeah, I think maybe there are more bears than usual this month. I'd make a count but if I move one now they will all tumble to the floor!!

Just the bears I can count are 16 and I'm positive they are stacked somehow. This being only the 23rd, I'll bet you've done more than one a day for sure. Great production...and I keep looking in vain for the sink full of dirty dishes but alas, cannot see it....:D

I've had a webcam view able by anyone who cares to look for a decade. It started when my Mom first got broadband internet. She liked to see me.

I've picked my nose and anything else that needed picking. I try to remember not to cross the room naked but sometimes I forget.

If someone wants to look, cool. If not, cool. Unless someone says so, I don't even know if anyone's watching.

It's really good, but it still has a.. band of blurriness or refresh or (it varies) every few seconds, from (just about the handle on the second file drawer from the bottom) on down, not always to the bottom.

And the second frame, which is empty, is labeled "Your new dropcam" and says "This camera is not online."

Sounds like maybe you looked the other day (or any day before this afternoon). Maybe a browser refresh? There's only one cam on the page now and just a link to the other).

That sure looks like it's saying your NEW camera is offline. Maybe it's the old one that's offline, but that's not what it says.

As I said, that is the old page showing the old (now offline) camera. The new page has one cam that is NOT offline and a link to the other cam.

Maybe try a different browser?

I'm getting lots of comments from people saying they are seeing the new camera so I'm pretty it's working :)

I didn't see how a different browser would matter, and it didn't: I opened Safari, which I rarely use, and got the same thing. Then I went back to Firefox and cleared the cache. Wow! Oh, yes, that made the diff.

Yes, that's why I suggested it first - cache clearing.

Depending on how you would, opening a web page in a different browser can offer the same benefits as refreshing the content (clearing the cache).

I keep a rarely used browser on hand for just that purpose. Alternatively you can use anonymous browsing if your browser offers it.

Oh, Susan, this is way better. I checked in on you from time to time before on the old camera to see if anything was new or different, and this new and improved screen is so much nicer.

Ha . . . I loved when you just sat down to eat, soon Betty jumped up and sat beside you like a little sentry guarding you.

Ok, my hubby is now sure I'm obsessed. I've had none of the camera issues some people are reporting, mine is crisp and clear and there's no disruption anywhere. You have another link there to that other camera that offers a side view (and it's not as clear as the first camera) but i think you already said that it wouldn't be. Hubby was cringing when i told him i was gonna ask you this but i told him you are super down to earth and would probably not care.

What if someone was watching or looked in on your webcam when you aren't home or late at night and saw something weird...like a small fire or an intruder? Do people know how to call 911 for you or at least alert you in some way? And yes, I do watch an awful lot of Criminal Minds...lol.

Just wondered. :D

I've had a webcam turned on my living room, available to the public 24/7 for about a decade, and never ever had anyone need to get a hold of me in an emergency because of what they saw.

I see every email seconds after I get it (on my phone or on a computer) except when I'm in the pool so that's probably the best way to get me in a hurry.

I do love stalkers :)
