Bits and Pieces and their cement

I signed up for a two day ceramic mosaic class!  I have no idea where the idea came from. I have not been dreaming of it forever.  Not even for an hour.  I have always loved bits and pieces put together - quilts stained glass, mosaic glass and ceramics.  Making something beautiful out of scraps.  I'm always drawn to those pieces.

So today I googled.  I found several different classes put on by different people at different places - god, I love Seattle.

I picked the one that sounded most like I would like best and signed up.  I'm going to have to give up a Saturday swim class but I can do that.  The class is Saturday from 9:30-2:30 and then the Sunday after fro 9:30-12:30.  In the middle of May.

I'm jazzed.

I've always loved mosaics. I've only ever made them with glass, ('cause I have so many scraps), but there's so many other things you can use. I'll be anxious to see what you make. I bet it will be fabulous and full of color.
