A quiet Sunday

susandennisYesterday's brunch, while truly scrumptious, was a financial splurge so today is brunch at me casa. Plus, I still have some of the wonderful country ham and beautiful biscuits - an amazing gift delivered on Friday. So brunch here offers more than brunch anywhere else in the city anyway!
The rest of the day will be baseball, knitting, and laundry.
I don't know why but even when you don't work, Sundays still feel like Sundays. Quiet and calming - a day to indulge in peace and recharge. This makes no sense to me but it happens every week. And I can already feel it today.
The exception is Zoey. She is running and jumping and investigating and shadowboxing. I think her game plan is to wear herself out so her nap will be totally worth it.
