Well, the table is truly a perfect solution. I love the look.  I love the function.  Yeah!  This is a problem I've been trying to solve for a couple of years!

And the rug is great. I hate wearing shoes so I don't.  It is very soft and cushiony on my feet.  And pretty and it hides the grout that I hate to clean.  Nice.

We had anew (to us) teacher for class today and she was GREAT.  Instead of coming from a fitness background, she's from a dance/synchronized swimming background.  We learned all kinds of new things and new stuff about old things (whys and hows).  And she was fun.  She's an interim coordinator for the pool this summer so won't be teaching often but I wrote to her boss after class to convey the message that we'd like her as often as possible (and quickly got a really nice note back).

Even with all this good stuff, I don't really feel great today.  I can't pinpoint exactly why not and I don't feel terrible.  Just kind of off without a lot of energy.  I'm sure it will pass. I've had it before and it's usually gone in a day.

But, I did want to make a note here so I don't forget.  When I was first diagnosed with COPD and started taking all this medicine to breathe, my voice took a huge hit.  Sometimes I had no voice.  Sometimes I had some but not much.  Sometimes I was ok.  There was no rhyme or reason I could ever figure out.  Nothing seemed to fix it.  Nothing seemed to aggravate it.  But generally, once a day, I'd open my mouth to say something and nothing came out.  I remember it happening while I was in Las Vegas this year so that was January.  It occurred to me the other day that sometime between then and now, the problem went away.  I never sound hoarse. I sound perfectly fine all the time.  It's been a long time since I've noticed any kind of voice anomalie.  It took a couple of years but it's all  fixed now.  Weird but fine by me!

Yay for stuff fixing itself!! Though i secretly think it was just your body's way of getting used to the new meds, they probably do something to your air passages that dry it up a bit and once in a while it would hit your voice box.

Sorry you are not full of energy today. Do you do naps at all? I know what you mean about it passing in a day or so. I guess sometimes our bodies just need to slow down a bit.

I'll have to go check out your webcam to see if i can see the table in it. If you are using it near your knitting chair then I'm sure I can!

VERY cool table. You paid a good price, too. Win/Win for sure.

I'm glad that the "no voice" problem worked itself out. Perhaps, all of this exercise you're getting is a benefit to that.

One of the things I'm going to do in short order is identify where I can go swimming, once my job ends tomorrow. I think the exercise will help greatly with my situational depression.

Susan, I don't think you know how much I look forward to reading your slice of life posts daily. They always contain a nugget of wisdom, a unique perspective that makes me think. Thank you.
