A new plan

susandennisI got up this morning when the alarm when off, fed the cats and went to the pool and swam. It was fabulous.
First of all the getting there and back is WAY WAY easier and less stressful. The road from here to there has been under construction since Jesus was a baby. But, turns out, the work crews don't start until after 8, apparently! Then there is a corner of tiny strip malls and small shops and restaurants that is always a traffic tie up ... but not before 8!
The session goes from 6:30-8 but, apparently, most peops are done by 7:30 and this morning I had the pool nearly to myself.
So, the new plan is to set the alarm for Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays for 6:30, feed the cats and hit the road. The pool doesn't have early morning swims on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I'll do the class on Thursdays and on Tuesdays, I'll either do laps or the class, depending on the instructor (last Tuesday the instructor, who is supposed to be the regular one, turned out to be a total lemon). Saturdays class is at 8:30 and Sundays the pool opens at noon.
I think it's a good plan. And, if at 6:30, I don't want to get up, I won't and just go to the pool when it reopens at 11.
Alarms are all set up. Nice.
And now I have the rest of the day. I need to change the sheets and do a load of laundry. And the rest of the day is going to fall in the come what may category.
