Another Day, Same Ottoman

This is just cracking me up - they are getting closer... Betty was here first and then Zoey hopped up. Things were copectic for about 45 minutes until something made Betty look around. She saw Zoey and immediately decided that lying on the rug next to the ottoman was much preferred.

It's wild. The NEVER fight. Once in a great while, one will growl at the other but not often. Most of the time they just pretend the other doesn't exist. I've never had two cats like that. All the other pairs - even the ones who were friends - fought at least once in a while.

Yep, you are very right. I have had two boys and boy/girl but never 2 girls before. I did not think of that. INTERESTING.

My friend Brad took home a new cat a few weeks ago, and his older cat seems to be slowly accepting him into the home. It takes a few weeks, or sometimes months, but they always seem to adapt.

Actually, I think the adapting never stops. Betty changes personalities about every 5 years. It's always interesting.
