susandennisThe alarm went off at 6:30. I got up, fed the cats, brushed my teeth, suited up and went to the pool. And I got there too early. I think 6:45 is the sweet spot. I'm resetting the alarms.
The too early was because there wasn't quite room for me in any of the four lanes I can use. I consider the two middle lanes out of my league. I don't mind sharing with 3 or 4 other people as long as we are all on the same pace. But this morning, it was hard to find a spot. After 15 minutes, it got considerably easier.
My swim was good but not great. I might go back at 11 for another shot.
Amira, the housecleaner, is scheduled to come today. And, honestly, looking around this place, it's not a minute too soon.
I think this afternoon I'm going to make a batch of stuffing/dressing. The only ingredient that I don't have on hand is celery. I think leaving that out will not be fatal. I could go get some but I think it's going to be too hot to justify doing that for just celery.
I finally figured out how to move a book from the library to my Kindle via USB on the Chromebook. It wasn't that difficult but it is undocumented. I had waited until one of my holds came in to try it. Got it done only to discover that the book was too boring to read. But, for a proof of concept... perfect.
Guess I'll go empty the dishwasher and clean the cat dishes from breakfast.
