Saved by swimming
Jul. 18th, 2013 12:47 pmIt was just too sad here so I went swimming. Today is class day but I really didn't feel like that kind of swimming. I just wanted to swim laps so I did. And it was great and helpful. In my mind, I rearranged the house for life without Betty - put away a litter box and reorganized the eating situation. It was easier to figure out without having to actually face it.
It was a good swim. I got a little counter thingie that you wear like a ring so I could keep count of my laps. I know it makes no difference how long I swim or how many laps but I just wanted to know. Today I swam a half mile. I like the sound of that.
Now I have cleaning out to do. In addition to the litterbox and food things, when I went into the fridge to find lunch I found a couple of science projects. Time to clean out the fridge, too. That's my afternoon and I'm starting in 1, 2, 3...
