It's clear that what I had hoped was the result of teeth grinding at night and would go away, is not. There's a tooth that is not happy. Last night, it was really bothering me and I had visions of being in extreme pain all weekend with the reward being a trip to the dentist on Monday. I have not been to the dentist in many years because I cannot stand the idea. And no dental insurance.
I had dreams last night of horrible dental stuff.
This morning it's not nearly as bad as I assumed it would be. It still aches a little and hurts a little more when I apply pressure but I can eat and it's not horrible. I still think I'm going to have to go to the dentist but, at least, for now, it's tolerable. It's a back tooth and one that I can lose without horrible ramifications.
I hate the idea of the dentist. I hate going and omg, I'm sure it's going to cost at least one limb. At least tooth extraction is likely one of the cheapest items on the dentist shelf. I kind of have a dentist - they still send me emails even though I haven't been there in forever. I'm sure they will take me this time. I just yelped to look at dentist info and my dentist had 17 reviews - all 5 stars so at least I won't have to go find a new one.
It could be worse in many ways.
This morning I'm off to the pool in about an hour and after that, I'm not sure what. I might go find breakfast but I also might just come on home. Traffic around town promises to be messy today and I don't have anything - shopping or whatever - that I really want to do. The baseball game is an afternoon game so I'll be here for that. It's supposed to be cooler today but I'm not taking any chances.
I finally got my missing TV channels back. And I ran into Bradley in the garage yesterday. He gave me a very warm and sincere apology for his behavior the night before so all is good. Front Door TV Network is history. But, I found a very cool aquarium screensaver on my Roku and a nice photo slide show program, so I will be entertained. 20 years of spying on neighbors is probably enough.
Time to finish up my coffee and hit the road.
