Curtains...

Just snagged this off the webcam page. That's John's ass you can see out on the terrace working away.

He's hanging curtains that will drop from way high up to the ground and serve to hide the storage cabinets out there. The curtains are made out of some miracle fabric/stuff that is the exact color of the brick walls and is heavy enough not to flutter around. Sheri scored big on that find.

The plan was also for him to assemble the armoire for the front room. That will give me a place to put the ladder that he's standing on, the shopping cart I used to haul shit from car to condo and some other stuff away. Plus shelves that are behind a door for my knitting magazines and some other bigish items that I don't particularly want out.

This weekend I have to hem again. The curtains for the bedroom are too long. We knew they would be and I could have just done the sides last week and saved the bottoms for this week but what the heck. I'll get them all done and finished this weekend and snap photos. They are not what you would expect given the rest of the design decisions. But I love the feel they give the room.

Back to work for me. I'll have to wait until I get home to get the details on what that John is up to!
