  • Hem curtains in the bedroom
  • Hem curtains on the terrace
  • Unpack boxes and stuff the shit anywhere temporarily. There are only about 5 boxes left and I am sick of looking at them.
  • Get the desk files straight and file the basket that is full
  • Sync up client finance software with online stuff
  • Cut remaining carpet scraps and stash on top of terrace cupboards
  • Take pix of the latest and post on the makeover pages
  • Add new puzzles before my crazed puzzle fans come after me

Progress! Oh and I found an el-cheapo hand steamer that looks like it's going to be perfect. Found it at the Bartel's next to the library!

The last box is empty. I cannot believe it. There is one chest that is crammed with books that need shelves and there is other stuff that needs to be arranged as the shelves go in and the stuff gets put on them. But, it is heaven to at least have everything somewhere.

    Ahhhh

Alas, turns out that getting Sheri's Designers Challenge episode into some kind of format that is small enough for a decent download and in a common format is way too much trouble. Sorry folks. I'm sure they will rerun the episode - probably about a bazillion times.

Hey, I just peeked and I see you sitting there in absolute splendour.
What's that on camera three, though - looks like some kind of beautifully coloured dish . .

Thanks for trying with the Episode.

    Great progress!!

Is your terrace open to the weather?

Also, have you seen those airconditioners that require no ducting?

Just a small outlet to outside. Pretty pricey though.

The air conditioners have outside pumps/units and hang on a wall inside. Just need a small opening. They would be a permanent install, but take up little room inside. It would take up some room on the terrace though.

    Very unobtrusive.
