Telescope outfit

I love having the telescope. I often need a better view of whatever is going on in the parking lot or across the street or down the block. But, the city is gritty and leaving it out there naked is not a good idea. In January, Sheri snapped this picture of the living room and got the telescope in its old outfit. See that thing that looks like a green pillowcase thrown over a long thing? Well, that's a green pillowcase thrown over the telescope.

But, no more. Today it has new clothes. Better, yes? Thumbs. Click for dets.

And, can I just say that velcro is the greatest thing ever. I remember the first time I saw it. Daddy was in textiles and he got an early version of it before it was for sale and brought it home to show us this strange new thing. This was in the early 60's. I thought it was magical then and I still think it is today.
