This morning's trip to the pool required headlights for the first time.  Nice.

Funny, as an old lady it is my right and desire not to go out after dark but I welcome and love the morning dark!  No clue why.  Except maybe it means cool/cold is coming or is here.  I love the winter dark which is good because here in Seattle we get a whole lot of it.  There are more than a few days where daylight does not arrive until 8ish and night comes about 4:30.  I'm totally cool with that.

The big ticket item today is getting 2 packages to UPS for return.  I could leave them for our UPS guy but he's hit or miss in terms of picking up pre-paid stuff so I think I'll just truck 'em on over to Office Depot.  I need to do it within the hour or after 1:30 as there's a Mariners game this afternoon.  Doubtful it will generate that much traffic but our good pitcher is pitching and it's the last afternoon game of the season so maybe.  No need to take chances.  My schedule is pretty loose :)

I'm having a debate with myself about my cellphone.  I'm not in love with it.  It's just too big.  (Samsung Note 2) I think I want to bite the $$ bullet and get a smaller one.  My contract with Verizon is not even a year old yet so I'm going to pay and pay in order do to it.  Since that's the case, I want to make sure I don't trade in bad for bad.  I can't decide if I want to stay with Verizon or go with probably T-Mobile.  I can't decide what phone I want (MotoX? Nexus 5?) And, so I'm so far just debating.  The good news is that my phone number is Google Voice so that won't need to change no matter that I do.

Now I think I'll do my Office Depot thing and get that behind me.

Regarding the phone, T-Mobile has come up with a program called Next. AT&T has Jump. Verizon is supposed to be coming out with their version. It allows folks to upgrade or change phones without jeopardizing their plan. It might be of use to you.

I hadn't thought of a difference between morning dark and evening dark. Lovely. I believe that morning dark is optimistic:)

As to the darkness, yeah, when it's very cloudy as you know, is common around here, it can be dark, or seem so until 8am or so, when in fact the sunrise is in fact an hour earlier!

However when it's clear, well, it'll brighten up as the sun comes up.

Never the less, I love how it's dark earlier in the evenings, and later in the mornings.
