The desk is heaven. Really. When you think about it - a giant desk right where any thinking person would have a dining room table - it's nuts but I do love it.
The closet curtains started because I had sliding doors. All those closets go back in there behind the walls and I could never ever see everything plus I was constantly sliding those damn doors back and forth. Finally, I just took the doors down and put up curtains. Until now, the curtains were just bedsheets. But, I learned, in addition to hiding shit - which is a very good thing in itself - it makes the room feel very special. Kind of like a cocoon.
