susandennisI just called Verizon and said 'buh bye'. I got a very nice guy who gave saving me his best shot but didn't make the divorce painful. And he said that if I rechange my mind in 50 days, just call him and he'll take me back, no harm, no fowl (cluck cluck). I got the send back box from Gazelle so I just need to wipe out the Note 2 and pop it into the box and take it to the post office.
Turns out my calculations were off - projected out 15 months, and including buying the new phone, selling the old phone, and paying the early termination fee, I will have a net savings of $450. I will own the phone and not be tied to any contract of any kind. I like the deal.

Great swim this morning and then I stopped for breakfast with a quick trip to Trader Joe's. I got home in time to see the Mariner's lose.
This afternoon I have a handful of household chores to do, then I need to finish the latest bear and take the monthly bear round up photo and package them up for transport.
I have good books to read and a stuffed TiVo. All is good here!

Date: 2013-09-02 01:52 am (UTC)I have a T-Mobile prepaid plan (they have prepaid and postpaid). I'm paying $30 a month for 100 talk minutes, unlimited texts and data*. The data speed drops if I use more than 5G.
If you go here and scroll down the page it's about midway down and says "$30 a month unlimited web and text..."
I bought the phone at Google Play store. I also needed a $10 sim card from T-Mobile to put into the phone.
