Catching my breath

I did the math... I started swimming laps every day on May 5.  I am about 1 week away from swimming exactly the same amount that Diana Nyad did and I did NOT use a shark cage either so... there!  But, honestly, she does a wonderful job of old lady represent!!

I spied my first tenant in the apartment building!!!  I'm going to call him Tang.



But... windows shades????  That's very bad.

I got all involved in the Diana Nyad landing and so didn't get to the grocery walk until after the sun was full strength.  I went anyway and it was not pretty.  Happily the new apartment building gives good shade if I got a little bit out of my way which I was happy to do.

The Mariners are playing, and now that I'm rested, I think I'll find some lunch.

but you can get them relatively quickly. you could pin up bedsheets faster but that'd look worse. maybe they have nicer window coverings on the way?

1. NO Window Coverings will be acceptable. It's bad enough I have to look through The Tree That I Hate, but if their windows are covered I won't be able to see anything!!

2. It's apartments and, I suspect, shade removal/replacement is not allowed. I'm nearly positive that bedsheets are not.

So, I'm looking at this picture of the not so elusive Mr. Tang, and the thought occurs to me that The Tree That You Hate may actually now be serving a logical purpose if it is helping to camouflage you in your reconnaissance rounds... just a thought.

hahaha yeahbutt... I'm not looking to hide! I'd much rather have a leaf -free view. But, I will, sooner than later. I'm hoping for an early Fall!
