While the rest of the world will be watching Breaking Bad and tweeting and blogging and discussing it... I'm just so grateful to have The Good Wife back.    I tried Breaking Bad twice and just could not latch on but I love The Good Wife.

The Mariners are now losing 8-0 in the 7th.

I think the leaves on the Tree That I Hate are attached with Gorilla Glue.

I have no problem having readily available M&M's in the house. I use them for decoration. I sometimes have a handful but most days the lid stays happily on the jar.

Corn candy, however, is another demon all together.  I bought some.  Ate a handful.  Put the rest in a closed bag in the bottom of a drawer in the kitchen.  I am in the living room and I can hear them calling to me.

Yeah, I know that's more than two things.  Now I'm just flaunting my rudeness (rudinocity, rudatiousness, ruditity).

I haven't watched much of Breaking Bad (only what I catch from being in the same room as Luke). Two things I like about it (that are irrelevant to the storyline) are that it's filmed in Albuquerque (home) and that the actor who plays Walter also played the dad in Malcolm in the Middle. The two characters are so different from each other that I have to admire the man for his talent. Otherwise, eh. Meanwhile, I haven't heard of the Good Wife. Premise?

Candy can sit in our house forever if I was the only one here. The candy fiend in this house is Luke. However, few bags of chips are safe from me if they are in the house. (And lately pastries are near impossible to dodge. Yum.)

And for what it's worth, I think you rock :)

That sounds like my kind of series! Plus I love those two actors, so that can't hurt ;)

Candy corn. No. Happy to give you my share.

M&M's? If they're the dark chocolate variety, love'em. For me milk chocolate is a waste of cocoa, but dark, oh yeah, love it. Good thing I don't have too much of a sweet tooth.

We would have been horrified by what had piled up on the TiVo in our absence, except that we knew it was going to happen. Still, I hadn't realized that so many of our winter shows would have already started. What with nights out and all this baseball I don't know how we're ever going to catch up (my theory is that we should let the British mysteries that don't require continuity sit for a while, but that will only help a little bit). On the one hand, I can't wait to get back to "The Good Wife" and "Revenge", and on the other hand I don't want to leave the last of the summer stuff sitting around so long that we forget what was going on.

And we need to check of there are any more new shows that we need to try. One good thing is that we watched 3/4 of the first episode of "The Blacklist" last night and decided we didn't want it (the bad thing is that we didn't quit after the first 1/4, when we already knew that we didn't like it).

We're probably going to have to resort to some daytime watching, which is going to be difficult this week because the weather is supposed to be nice.
