Thank you. Once you got that sun off my terrace, you turned out a decent day. I could stand it cooler but I understand that you need to do Summer so I'm ok with it.

I'm going to hold off the air conditioner at least one more day.

And speaking of major miracles... The Mariners won!

Sheri's handy man brought up two of the three shelf sections. He'll bring the third on Tuesday when he comes to install. They match the coffee much shelves and will be beautiful and when they are all in, I'll have a surplus of shelf space. Never in my life have I ever had a surplus of shelf space. Wow.

The TV guys aren't here yet. I'll betcha they are going to bitch about the Mariner traffic. I warned 'em. If they had come at the top of their delivery window, it would have been no problem. I had to reboot the old TV 3 times this afternoon. Once the picture went in addition to the sound. This baby is on its last leg.

I helped my bro out of a computer jam this afternoon - he had a huge honkin' psd file he had to get to Verizon for his ad and it was over his isp's limit and over gmail's limit. Fortunately, he was about to ftp it up to one of my hosts and I built him a quick and dirty web page with a link to for Verizon to download it. Nice. Tidy. He was very grateful. I was happy to do it.

Now... waiting for the TV guys...

I was talking to my mother earlier and I was taking her to task on her inappropriate use of english, for me nice and sunny don't belong on the same page. It was 93F and not a loud in the sky in San Jose today, my car was cooking when I gave up work (no DHCP server). To me there's nothing between overcast and moderate snow that could be considered worse than a sunny summer day in the majority of the US. The hills near work that were green a month ago are dead and brown now and will remain that way until december or even january.

Hmmm.... air conditioner :D
