Oh Sheri is going to not be very happy I think... My already too big but nice and black TV is now a much huger silver one!

I thought my old TV was a 29" and this one is a 32" so I'm thinking what's 3"?? How much different could it be?? Well, turns out my old one was 27" and this one is enormous!!

And wonderful and it fits on the TV console just fine. This mother is excellent. I can record two different stations and watch a third! I can record on VCR or TiVo. This is wild. I love it.

The delivery guys turned out to be very very very nice. They didn't speak much English and my Spanish el sucko but we got by just fine and they took away my old TV and the box and asked for a hand vac to clean up the few styrafoam bits they dropped in the hallway.

Setup was a bit tricky because I had to move furniture and it's still a rats nest behind there and I could not get the cabinets back far enough towards the wall but John will be here next weekend working on shelves and I'll get him to help me move it. Adding it into my universal remote worked great the first time.

This is nice. I am happy. I think I'll go read the manual. Which is nicely small.

could be worse

you could have gone to 32" and not realized until after the tv arrived that the stand wouldn't safely accommodate it because it weighs too much. busses would pass by the house and the stand (with the tv) would sway ...

Looks similar to ours, but I think ours is 36". Boy, they really are heavy.

Makes you wonder why you put up with the other one so long, doesn't it?

I still look at the flat screens/digitals, and think they are too much and not worth it yet.

Enjoy it!!!
Sounds like you will be a big help for your brother. I know you aren't moving to Austin, even though it is a nice city, it is hot as Hades in Austin in the summer.
