susandennisI just finished writing a great entry about these neighbors of my Mom's - he's 85 and she's 80. They got tired of sharing the same computer and today she got her new laptop, they got their new wireless network and they each got their own email accounts. When last seen this afternoon they were sending emails to each other from opposite ends of the apartment. Love to read them "honey, next time you get up, could you bring my walker in here? love, honey"
But, my client ate the entry. However, the above paragraph kind of covers the high points.
I also wanted to do an entry about my favorite authors. A list really, but it's a good excuse to get into my database and remember the ones I really like and make sure I'm up to speed on all their books.
Oh and my Mom's finances. She has a Visa card with Bank of America. She uses it for every single thing. I'm a little leery of Bank of America and the fact that she is so used to using it and what if something happens to her Visa - she loses it or BofA closes her account or blocks her out or something. So I've been on her about getting a back up charge card. Please. My friends at Discover were in on the plan and happened to send her 'why don't you join us' junk mail. So she did. Applied for the card. Got it last week, signed it and put it into her purse.
Not one week later - I swear - she's at Eckerd's getting her minor fortune in old people drugs and can't find her Visa. She pulls out the Discover and all is well. Turns out the Visa was in her church purse. But, boy, am I ever the smartest child in the family this week! Just call me Clara the Credible.
