I've been thinking about a sound bar for my TV for a long time.  I have increasing trouble hearing some dialogue.  I turned on subtitles. While I like know what is being said, I hate having the words on the screen. Everything I read says a soundbar will make it better.  But, 1. I don't want to spend huge amounts.  2. I am wary of complicated set ups - my tv situation is complicated enough 3. I hate those ugly subwoofers and have no place to put one.

I've had my eye on a Vizio one - that does not require a subwoofer for a while. It is relatively inexpensive and has good reviews. Last night, Amazon had it on special with a $10 for prime members (I've actually not ever seen a discount for prime members before) which brought it down to $88.  Then I applied my $15 discount and filled in the rest with the rest of my Amazon gift card credit.  So... $0 which is a fair price.

I did research the setup and it appears to be far more easy than I thought.  My TV has the required ports and they are now unused.  So... we'll see. If it doesn't help hearing the words, it will just go back to Amazon.

I'm off to the pool now and then off to Walmart - I ordered some stuff online and want to return it. Plus I have a short list.  And then back to Stopsky's deli on the way home. It was really good last week so I thought I'd give it another go.
