My last coffee

I'm sipping the last cup of coffee that I will have before The Procedure. I drink about a gallon of coffee a day but only in the mornings. When I'm done with my gallon, I'm done for the day. This is my last cup today.

Tonight I'll take one of my two valium. (The second one is up for grabs. Maybe I'll sell it on the street.) I found a phone and plugged it in next to the bed. I have my tylenol and ibuprofen ready in the bathroom. I have a pair of cheap Depends knockoffs in my backpack.

Tomorrow I can have a light breakfast and no coffee. I'll go in early to work and stay until 10:45 and then get on the bus which stops just across the street from the dentist's building ... I hear those beats from Law & Order, don't you???

I guess I'm as ready as I'm ever going to be.

John the shelf guy is supposed to be coming over some time today. The Mariners' game is on at 1. (Someone has, however, replaced all of the Mariners with look alikes who can actually play the game. This happened sometime last week. No clue how or what happened to the other guys - I don't think anyone cares.)

I need to do laundry and catch up Money with my online accounts and focus on Tuesday or any day other than tomorrow.

Yeah I was thinking it would be cool to take a Tuesday pill. Pop it and everything would be over! I am such a chicken.

Remember when I had my hysterectomy? I was convinced I would die and before I passed I would be writhing around for hours in pain.

Instead I had trouble sleeping the night after surgery was done because I WANTED A PIZZA!

Ooooh the delicious pain pump. Such wonderful meds!

Good luck for tomorrow. I was just thinking of you today, realising that I hadn't stopped by to tell about my extraction last Tuesday! It all went well - had a massive filling first which took around 20 minutes, then the wisdom tooth came out in around two minutes; couldn't believe my luck. He asked me if I wanted to keep the tooth for the tooth fairy, which I quickly declined :) I didn't think a 40+ year old tooth was going to look that pretty ...

By Wednesday, I was eating normally and only had a slight soreness, so I'm sure you're going to be fine.
