30 hours to go
Jul. 12th, 2005 12:26 pmNever in my life have I wanted to brush my teeth as badly as I do now! The instruction sheet says to wait 48 hours. Of course, brushing really wouldn't help anyway, it's the damn stitches. They feel like little kernals of things stuck in my teeth. They will go away but right now my tongue is going nuts trying to get rid of them.
I'm just so grateful to have yesterday behind me that I cannot stand it.
I ran my errands and now I'm back. I went to Bulbman. About a half a mile from here is a shop that has every single kind of lightbulb you could ever ever every want. And they are very nice. Sheri bought me some really cool lamps from IKEA. I love them but they take this very strange bulb. I can get a replacement bulb at IKEA but since it's a good 40+ minutes from here when there is no traffic, I'm not thinking it's going to be handy. Bulbman to the rescue. They have one kind that I can use and can order another kind that I can also use if I need it. Give 'em a couple of days to order it and I can have whatever I want. They are only open from 9-5 M-F but now that I know I can get replacements, I'm good.
On to the yarn shop to pick up some teddy bear stuffing. On to the patio store down the road. I saw in Sunday's paper that the had patio furniture on sale. They do. But no bar height stuff except for one set but the table wasn't right (tile top not mesh) and it wasn't on sale $600. But. I can cross them off my list.
Now I think maybe I'll watch some TV. Maybe a Netflix.

Date: 2005-07-12 10:07 pm (UTC)I head for IKEA once a month or so . . I'd be happy to take orders. Light bulbs, candles, kitchen accessories (*drool*), Swedish meatballs . . whatever!
Glad you're doing so well - other than the kernal thing (ewwww!).
