I can not find any better info about how long these stitches take to dissolve than 'a few days.' My tongue is not that pleased with this lack of info.

On the up side, my teeth are feeling less sore. I just ate a little bag of oyster crackers and tried chewing on both sides. Now, granted, oyster crackers aren't fodder for your chewing olympics but when you are trying out the gear, they work fine so just back the hell off. Anyway, I discovered that both sides of my mouth are now able to chew. The left side is a bit more into the pain-free chewing than the right side, but I dare say that competition and fear of being left in the dust will bring the right side around soon enough.

Stephen reminded me that I was supposed to have been washing my mouth out with warm salt water. Doh. I do think I read that in the instructions. Totally forgot about it. Oh well. I've done it now twice and promise to keep it up. I also forgot the Listerine this morning. And I need a new toothpaste.

Ok, show of hands... how many are sick and fucking tired of hearing about my teeth??!!! Ok, hands down, I can't even see the back of the room for all the freakin' waving. Done.

No ballgame tonight - the all star break is just a pain in the ass. Last night I watched the MSNBC show about eBay. Pretty interesting. I do have an episode of The Closer on TiVo. I like that show more and more.

Jeopardy has a guy who has now won 6 times. He knows a lot of stuff but he is really really really annoying. He's that brainiac smart ass in 6th grade that you just wanted to smack because he was there. I'm now watching and routing for anyone anyone to beat him. He's no Ken Jennings, that's for sure.

I used my Discover cash back to 'buy' an $80 Sharper Image card for $40. Then I used the card today to buy an e Vac. I notice on the Sharper Image home page they are now selling Roomba and while the e Vac is still on their main site, it is very nearly impossible to find. The Roomba is $275. The e Vac, refurbished etc etc with shipping was $78.25. So I have $1.25 left! I figure if it works, great. If not, it was kind of free so what the heck! And it will be great fun to watch Jake and Betty - they both have vacuumphobia.

I am not tired of the tooth saga either. I am so glad to know I am not alone in this. For years I felt out in the cold about these issues. I have finally found I am in very good company. We are not alone!!!

I'm so not done hearing about the teeth! I'm glad you have stitches that disolve. I can't remember if mine did that or not, but I remember it being weird.

Maybe by the end of the week you will be able to chew some general's chicken.
